SUNDAYi went sentosa with my two 'aunts' and one of their university friends :D
it was funnnnnnnnnnn! :D two of my aunt's friends are from a university in taiwan while another one is from NTU. they were very friendly and nice people to hang out with! :D i really enjoyed my time with them. haha. from that day onwards, i began to realise that although im a singaporean, but.. i've not been to many places in sentosa before. haha when we just reached sentosa, we went to ride on the Lude. its something like a go-cart and something like a toboggan. it was fun to ride it down the 'hill'. haha but before we could ride it down, we had to sit on the skyride up.haha its like one my aunt, one of my aunt's taiwan friend and me were quite scared of heights thus,we were like clenchin the bars very tightly and we didnt dared to move at all. haha. then my another aunt and her friends were laughin at us.haha.they were like turning around taking photos etc.haha.
after that, i think we went to the tanjong beach. haha. as i was wearing heels, i had to take off my shoe and walk on the sand.lols. i wasnt expecting to go sentosa that day.thus i was not really in the right attire to go there :/
haha its like my aunts and her friends started to take off their shoes and accompanied me by walkin on the sand barefooted :D haha.
walking along the beach, we came across the flying tranpeze. haha it looked cool.my 'aunt' wanted to try but no one else wanted to try. sooo in the end noone tried it. haha. there was this eurasian family queueing up for that. their children were able to do some stunts as they were swinging from one side to another. we enjoyed watchin the whole family tryin that out. haha only the mum and the dad weren't able to do any stunt altho they did tried. haah.
we later went to a place opposite THE MERLION. haha then as we were resting, a grp of thai tourists came up to us and asked if they could take a picture with us. :D we were soooo shocked :D as they looked friendly, we decided to let them take photo with us. haah.then as they went off, they kept saying thank you to us :D
after resting our legs, we went to THE MERLION. as we walked in, there were legendary sea dragons and mythical mermaids surrounding us.walkin further in, there was this room that had a 5min animation on the origins of the Merlion.haha but that story isnt really the same as what we;ve learnt in our history textbooks. lols.the animated mercubs were sooo cute!:D after watching,we went to a place where we could pt our mystery gold coin into the mouths of the small merlion and get a mystery gift card. one of my aunt's friend from taiwan wanted to keep that coin as sovenier but she wanted to see what mystery gift she'll get.lucky for her, one of the person working there decided to give one coin to her free! :D se was like soo happy ^^ after that,we sat the lift up to the head of the merlion. the scenary up there was beautiful! and as we went up, the lift had sounds of the sea and seagulls. haha. we could see harbourfront and almost the whole of sentosa up there. haha we asked one tourist to help us that a group photo up there. then, we went down to the mouth of the merlion. haha. there were 'professional' cameramen there to help people take their photos. the mouth of the merlion was quite squeezy. haha, as we went down to the first floor, we went there redeem our mystery prize! haha.. and our mystery gift wassssssssssss. a fan with a merlion picture imprinted on it :/ hah.
we went to other places too but i dont really know the specfic names for each place. hah.
finally~ we went to watch the performance at the magical fountain. it was superrrrrrr nice! its called Songs of the Sea. its a mesmerizing show with a live cast and dramatic effects pyrotechnics, water jets, brilliant lasers, special computer imaging, bursts of fire and quite captivating music.
haha.there were mini fireworks at the end of the performance too! (:
